Thumbsucking

He's been a thumb sucker since he's been born, he never liked pacifiers and always spits it out. He's 3.5years old now, he's still addicted to thumb sucking. The funny thing is when he's at school he told me he doesn't suck his thumb but when gets off school, once he steps into the car he sucks his thumb right away. He suck his thumb is because it comforts him when he gets fussy, throwing a tantrum , crying and sleeping.

My son is Scared of pets

Jayden is so scared of any animals he see, especially when he sees a dog. Yesterday, we came across Petsmart, so we decided to ask Jayden do you want to see dogs, knowing how scared he is, he will say "no, no" with a scary tone of voice. This time I was so shocked and surprised, he said "let's go and see some dogs" in a very content voice. When we got in there he seems fine, but then he saw a dog owner with his dog in the store, he quickly freaked out, and said "no, no" he was like all frozen and couldn't even move one bit and he wants to get out of there. kept on saying "no,no" with his hand signaling the no motion too. That was pretty funny!
I can never bring him to the Disney Animal Kingdom. Like I said he's different.

full time job vs part time job being a mother

There is always the debate should I work full time or part time. I think I prefer working part time, the reason is, it is way to stressful dealing with a trouble maker Jayden and on the other hand a painful customer service job. Working part-time is the best, at least I get one day off while Jayden is at school. I work 4 days a week, and only 24hours a week, so not too bad. I can deal with less money, I rather work less than taking more stress.

3 year old cried watching Tangled

I am very surprise when Jayden was watching Tangled the first time, he cried. There was two parts when he cried. First was when he saw the part when the witch was singing and scream to Rapunzel she's not leaving the castle. The second sad part was when Eugene was dying near the end. His eyes were all red and start tearing up.
I can't believe a 3 year old will understand so many things. It was such a emotional movie for my son.

3 months of school, not too bad

Time flies, Jayden has been in Montessori for 3 months now. He's been picking up a lot of english. He can sing some songs and sometimes he surprises me with a few words.
Although, it may be expensive but putting him into school early is the best thing for him since he's a very high demand toddler.

Lego builder

Since Jayden started Montessori I found out that he's now better at building things. Today he just built something very interesting with his Megablocks, instead of building one big large and tall building that can hardly stand up and not fall. He built mini tall buildings and place them side by side together, like a city, it's very creative and cute.

Boiron Coryzalia for cold

Jayden got a cold this week, I think because he hasn't slept in class for a week, he is over exhausted. I bought him BOIRON for cold. I love there products because it's natural, no alcohol, no preservative, no coloring. I used Camilia for teething and I also used the cough syrup before. They are all recommended.

Still crying

Second week has been completed and Jayden is still crying. When I first drop him off in the morning he will begin to cry when he enters the classroom, he will run to the teacher and starts screaming "mama" but he knows not to come to me. The teachers there told me he is finally taking an afternoon nap but when he hear some sort of noise he will wake up, it's getting better at least. For lunch he will eat macaroni in soup with chicken,because he doesn't like rice as much or bread.

Second week of school starts

Unfortunately this week, i am back to work it's going to be hard for me to work 4 days of week instead of three. I am not sure if jayden will continue to cry and if I will be late for work. Let's see how tomorrow goes
